PEDIGREE
His sire Wie Ibikus replaced his father Ibikus at Gestuet Haemelschenburg but stood for only one year before twisting his gut and sired four graded sons and many good dressage horses in this short time.
Paternal grandsire Ibikus has transcended international barriers as an outstanding sire of competition horses and particularly dressage horses, with 15 graded sons in the Trakehner breed alone as well as other Breeds in Denmark. According to an analysis of sires standing at stud in 1995, printed in the Trakehner Hefte, the two main contributing sires from the Ibikus line are Va Tout and Santiago (Champion of his grading).

His dam Valjoscha from the highly successful performance Velegu line, is the maternal grandmother of another top class graded performance sire, Vivus. Her sire Gunnar used successfully to upgrade other breeds as well as in the Trakehner breed, has also had a wide European influence, siring both stallions and important mare lines as well as many competition horses. His sire Itaxerxes has been awarded Elite status 1995 and was champion at his grading and his 100 Day Performance Test. He won many showjumping competitions including 13 in one year and is now competing successfully at Advanced Dressage. He is also the sire of Bardolino the 1994 Showjumping Champion at the National Championships at Cologne. Korida is also the mother of Gold and Silver Medal dressage graded stallion Kronjuwel at the Pan American Games. In the words of Klaus Reinacker, "KR carries come of the best competition blood in the world".

PERFORMANCE
Winnings own performances showjumping DM3,000 in Germany including International at Spangenberg. UK in competition as Highwell Kir Royal. Won or placed each time out with 14 year old rider in Open and B S C Classes. In his dressage career
he has won to Advanced and placed in Prix St Georg in 1997.

In the UK Kir Royal's first crop of foals has been impressive with two exceptional colts being exported as stallion candidates.

• Shannon's stock include two German Graded and 100 Day Peiformance tested sons, Polarjaeger from his first crop and Donaufeuer from his second. Polarjaeger is already the sire of two graded sons, Reserve Champion at his grading, Extravagant and Prae Vento in 1994, who was also 1995 Young Dressage Horse Champion at the National Championships at Cologne. His son Kanon taken into the D.O.K.R. at Warendoif and a full sister to Kanon.
